In 1998 Janette Stephan started her chemistry studies at the University of Leipzig. After finishing with the degree Diplom Chemiker in 2003, she changed to the Technical University of Graz. The topic of her PhD thesis at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry was Electrochemical conversions of chlorinated silanes. In May 2007 she finished her work on the project. After her academic career she worked as a scientific assistant at the Wasserland Steiermark and as a trainer for teaching personnel. In March 2010 she began to work as an Executive Assistant at the Aglycon Spreitz & Sprenger OG in cooperation with FEMtech.
