After finishing school and a year of travel and voluntary work abroad Hanna Schöpper started vet school in Hannover, Germany in 2002. Next to participating in the ERASMUS-exchange programme with the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria - she could gain first insights into research being awarded a summer scholarship for laboratory work at Kansas State University, USA in 2006. Since graduation in 2008 her new hometown is Vienna. Being interested in physiology she started her PhD at the Research Institute of Wildlife Ecology at the Vetmeduni Vienna under supervision of Dr. Huber. In her current work she focuses on prenatal programming of later reproductive function of the guinea pig.
