Christian Scheiber was born in 1975 in Innsbruck, Austria. He made his first contact with design and construction during high-school at the HTL-Imst. He continued his education with two years of courses in glass design and technology. In 1996 he began to study architecture in Innsbruck and besides studying architecture he studied Jazz-drums at the Konservatorium Innsbruck. After his diploma in architecture (2006) with Stefano De Martino on the fundament of the Rhizomatic space he autonomously further investigated this theory. In 2008 he started the PhD programme at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in the Prix class and simultaneously the researches with Michael Walraff on Vertical Public Space (project sponsored by departure).
