Julius Lambi is a PhD fellow at the Vienna School of Governance, a research group at the University of Vienna. His current research looks at how contextual factors affect the democratization-pressure capacities of civil society organizations in Africa. Throughout his career, he has placed much value on interdisciplinary research, since the development challenges that confront today's society are multifaceted. Before his current studies in political science, he earned a master's degree in Environmental Management from Aalborg University. His research interests include participatory governance, civil society, social movements, and environmental protection.
