Iris Kern, 32, is currently writing her doctoral thesis on coevolutionary aspects of visual competences at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her professional career in screen design started in 1997. In 2002 she co-founded the micro conglomerate Super-Fi (www.super-fi.eu) while studying digital arts. She works in creative concept development and culture-related journalism and combines art, research and advertising. Iris also teaches visualization at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna (FH Wien).
