Judith Kast-Aigner graduated from WU Vienna in 2000 and at first joined the corporate world, working in banks in London and Vienna. In 2005, she decided to start her doctoral studies, which she completed in 2009. Judith Kast-Aigner has been a member of the Institute for English Business Communication at WU Vienna since October 2005. Her research focus is terminological research. In her doctoral dissertation she conducted a diachronic analysis of the European Union's terminology in the area of development cooperation, identifying and portraying the conceptual and terminological changes in this field over time.
