Born in 1985 in Salzburg, Austria, Alfons Felice started his academic career at the University of Applied Life Sciences Vienna in 2004. Besides studying in the bachelor programme "Nutrition- and Biotechnology", he worked as a lab technician at different departments and thus earned a broad knowledge in the fields of microbial fermentation and protein design. His special focus was on the development of enzymes for very sensitive biosensors. Since spring 2009 he is enrolled in the master programme biotechnology. Next to his studies he is working in the local student's agency, lately as chairman, in the field of curricular development and improvement.
